When planning your wedding have you thought about using unity candles? You need to have it suit your style, not necessarily what anyone else has done beforehand. Make it your special way of expressing how you feel to each other.
The unity candle should comprise of three different parts, one for the bride, one for the groom, and the third lastly for both together. Lighting one candle together is symbolic of uniting your love together, but you can make the lighting of a candle however way you want it. Of course a lot of thought will need to go into the logistics of this, how it is to be done and where the lit candles will be put so as not to be a hazard, especially to little people.
This won’t be every brides desire and need to light candles, but if it is yours with a bit of planning and also inclusion into your wedding planner checklist, it could be a beautiful and touching thing, and something that is completely yours. You can decide to do this at a pious moment, or a very casual one as when you are cutting the cake and have a bit of fun, but at the same time bringing in the meaning of unity and love.
